you could just get 2.0 and then patch it, or maybe try using a proxy to connect to the previous link

VSB approved this server. Easy communication, response of GM. Fixing of issues, great crafting. New locations and so on. At first I was like it is a joke. But after trying it. I have to say, that it is damn serious business.

any more info? server status?
how many gangs are playing there? some website/forum?

make it a little bit more professional, maybe that could be an alternative for 2238 till other "PvP Projects" are not ready yet.

As far as I know, only Hawks are playing there + some independent players. I was told that there wasn't any server status checker at the moment. All I know about this server is:
  • It's developed by one developer only
  • Running enabled during RT combat
  • New world map
  • New locations
  • SDK (TLA or old 2238) drug system
  • I can only guess without working status checker, but I would say the server population is 0-30
  • Levelling one character takes about 10 hours (this info comes from one FOAus player)
  • I've heard pvp is very unbalanced
Feel free to correct me in case I'm wrong at any of the points.

There is still lots of things I don't know. Level cap? System of followers? Perks? Available weapons? Fallout in Australia is a wonderful idea, would be a shame to waste it. Yesterday I was watching Mad Max 3 and it was an amazing movie with such a great atmosphere. Maybe focus on making low stuff server for MadMax wannabies only. Boost weapons like shotguns, hunting rifles, pistols and make everything scarce. No pulse rifles, no gatlings. Post-apo Australia with inspiration of Mad Max franchise, that's how I see it  8) .

This is just brainstorming, who knows maybe your server is good as it is.

579mb, and there are plenty of things inside which aren't needed for playing, such as the mapper.

Download.
An original archive, without fallout.dat.
It may be enough to copy master.dat/critter.dat into the base directory.
