I was always wondering how much big guns skill brotherhood patrols have. I am wondering because BoS soldiers do more damage to leather type armor then I do.
They will do -70 till -150 without crits and with same minigun and ammo as mine. And I will do -50 till -80 without crits and with same ammo and same normal minigun. So I just want to know how they do more damage? I have 190% big guns, do I need even more to make more damage?

Weapon skills don't affect damage, only the chance to hit and nothing else(well maybe quests).
Check out "Bonus Range Damage" perk. Maybe BoS have it?

You can still use LSW and it will be a good tank build.

2 life givers is good for bg... if you have awareness take that crap away next time.

180 % is fine  for Bg's build.... My Bgrunner hassuch amount and was fine on long distances, can't recall how much on max range the % was but was fine ;P
