I was always wondering how much big guns skill brotherhood patrols have. I am wondering because BoS soldiers do more damage to leather type armor then I do.
They will do -70 till -150 without crits and with same minigun and ammo as mine. And I will do -50 till -80 without crits and with same ammo and same normal minigun. So I just want to know how they do more damage? I have 190% big guns, do I need even more to make more damage?

Weapon skills don't affect damage, only the chance to hit and nothing else(well maybe quests).
Check out "Bonus Range Damage" perk. Maybe BoS have it?

I believe they have bonus ranged damage perk.

50-60 damage to leather armor?
You need BRD man.

Throw mini away and use lsw better ;P avenger<lsw only one problem is harder to get ammo
