Can't Launch Game

Provider:
Everytime I press play a grey screen pops up and then goes away, my graphics card is up to date and I can run games such a Metro 2033 with no problems at all. I have changed the FOnline.dat to factions.zip, I have updated the game, and I have deleted the 94.23.237.127.2238.cache (yet everytime I press play it comes back). Any idea what is going on?

Did you put MASTER.DAT and CRITTER.DAT into the folder?

Obviously, or else game won't start at all with message that one or both .dat's not found.
