Let me start off by saying that the devs have created an amazing atmosphere that is truly Fallout and is VERY immersive. Sadly there are some kinks that need to be ironed out, this is what the beta proccess is all about, so don't take what I'm about to say as insulting.
Please fix the grammar. The grammar for most of the NPC's that were written by the devs is absolutely horrendous. Now I'm not saying this to be offensive, but I can hear the characters in my head speaking with a Russian accent. I understand spelling mistakes are going to be an issue even with an English professor doing the writing, but it's so incredibly un-immersive to see people who are supposed to have American accents ranging from complete redneck (redding) to high class (vault city) sound like they're Eastern European natives speaking English.
I don't know if this is too much to ask for, but if it's fairly simple please do something about it before the wipe, such horrible grammar cannot be tolerated by grammar nazis and people who analize every detail alike. If you need people to help you correct the grammar and make the game even more immersive I will gladly volunteer my time as I'm sure many individuals in the community will as well. You could then have a trustworthy individual known to the devs (global moderators, GM's, etc) to proof read the changes and give the green light. When the wipe comes a new wasteland with believable characters and non European sounding characters will emerge.
Don't take what I said as anti-European, but this is the remnants of America, if there is going to be bad grammar it would be something like "howdy there friend" and not "hello friend of mine". As you can see one sounds very American and the other, not so much. Think Fallout New Vegas, that is what the Characters should sound like, people from NCR and Vault City sound like normal Americans with proper grammar and people from small towns have rougher more country sounding English. It's small details like this that make a game amazing.
That's all, thanks for reading.
