Multiple character/accounts solution

I'm shure everyone knows about the multi-account abuse, or so called alting. I might have a solution for the devs about it, although i'm shure they have already thought about it thoroughly and will probably implement it soon, so my solution is the following: why not have account limitations per IP?
As a limit per IP would probably be 2-3 characters, if not less, its up to you.
This kind of limitation has already been implemented in many famous MMO's, and so far it's working great (why shouldn't it?), and this should also bring alting down to a drasticly smaller level, although it still wouldn't "root it out".

When we get rid off reasons to make alts, we get rid off alts themselves. Keep it simple.
Dynamic IP is solution for your "solution", Serbian. Wasteland is harsh.

Look, proxy servers can be used, i'm just saying IP limits are a simple way of stopping alting to a certain degree.

Alting isn't against the game rules, Currently the game "needs" alts due to high requirements for crafters and PvP apes who don't wish to make a balanced build so others have to combat their powerbuild with a powerbuild of their own and so they need crafters to make shit for those powerbuilds. From what I have gathered from a few Dev posts are a loosening on the requirements which will hopefully lower alting, but sadly it will still happen due to powerbuilds.
