And BoS has spy at each major city, this spy using his bioscaner, because they're extrasences too, and they're waiting Enclave members, they don't know what Enclave is, but they think they're dangerous, so when thier bioscaner says: "This guy from Enclave, i don't know what is it, but he must die.", this spy says to guards to kill him.

And when you leaving Enclave you again become normal person? ;p

yes, you lose the pretty pheromone hallucination package that makes you look like darth vader.

Btw, why do you think they're maniacs? Most Enclave soldiers want to remake USA, and i don't think they want to kill everything on sight, they have orders. And also you can remember the end of Fallout 2, when you can speak to Enclave soldiers and they will fight with you against Horrigan. Most members of Enclave just want to have better life, they're not maniacs who has a dream "Me want kill all humans!".

Yeah they are not maniacs, they want to clean up the earth of these ugly mutants (even if they look like humans)!
