What weapon do you find most effective for killing players, and why?

Trying to figure out what players think is the most powerful weapon in the game. Left out gauss, because it's not readily available to the players like other weapons, and usualy to expensive to use in normal player hunting. If you have a fav weapon I left out, feel free to mention it ;)

Of course you leave out the sniper rifle....  Which is the obvious choice...

I like the plasma melt animation, it fits to every critter, including players (and bluesuits!). Voted for Plasma Rifle, a fine weapon.
