I've been talking about lots of the upcoming things, some are finished, some are half done. There will be an update before too long.
As for why things take time - real life happens. For example I am only just starting to touch my little projects again after nearly 2 months because my son was born and preceeded to take up a large part of the free time I used to have :P.
But as ever, we will have our steady progress, its just the update will change quite a bit, so you need to wait for all of that to be done.

A lil' off topic but I Just logged into say Congratulation Solar! I am the father of a young girl and let me tell you, the first few weeks/months will be the hardest but it is very rewarding. My daughter can now say 'dada' and walk around. Very awesome.
I, for one, am waiting patiently for the next update. I just check fonline2238.net every few days and I am confident one day I will be pleasantly surprised and have to cancel my weekend plans.
Remember, the game is still available for play and you can always help the guys by donating or putting in a lot of quality work and create a map or quest or something.

I've already got a 2 year old daughter - it's just that she was a few months old by the time I started on here. After the first few months it's easier to multitask - its the broken sleep of the first few weeks that takes my will to stuff away!
