Bunker Hill
« on: June 06, 2011, 02:51:21 am »

Bunker Hill is a new area factions could take, but it isnt easy taking it.

Bunker Hill was a weapons/ammo Factory in the Pre-War Era.
A "AI" controlled the Security (Robots) and the Production of weapons and ammo.
In order to take over this factory, you need to override the AI,which requires 150 Science, and it takes 25 minutes fully to take the factory over.

1st Area:
A Trench with green goo in it, and 3 small bridges only over the deadly trench (Some what like The Gunrunners Base).
There are robots at the end ready to KILL you.

2nd Area:
A Guardhouse with windows, and robots stationed all over it.

3rd Area:
A somewhat large area which is a bunch of buildings surrounded with walls, with only 1 enterance.
Robots are crawling all over the area, so be careful.
There is a large bulding in the middle of the area which has a large elevator (up to 10 people can fit in it) which takes you to the inner bunker, where the weapons/ammo is made.

4th Area:
A large area full of machines which are used to make the weapons/ammo.Not alot of robots guard this area.

The Final Area:
A small area with a large computer which you use to take the area

Rewards:
The factory will make any weapon/ammo you want, but you still need fill the machines with resources in order to make the items.

P.S: Mods before you close this discussion post something of what problems this suggestion has.

While this sounds nice and all (is this based on some of the New Vegas DLC? Because it sounds pretty similar) it is not hard to write down such a scenario like you did. Coming up with a proper background is. Coming up with the mapfiles and the actual script files needed is. I don't want to tear it asunder, but you may come up with something more then just the idea itself. ;)

Bunker Hill Was Actually A Bunker On A Hill During The American Revolution. The British Took It From The Americans Though.

That's quite a nice reference, but it still doesn't bring up the points I described above.

Also, please, Don't Write Like That All The Time. It Hurts The Readers Eyes Pretty Bad.  :-\

You are doing it wrong Surf. While speaking with Teh Special Man Who Writes Teh Special Marks, you need to keep things simple.

CaptOmg - make a map (or maps) with Mapper tool, put some screenshots here. It worked for me.

Maybe I could do some mapping.
And maybe we could use the map I created awhile ago?

Sounds good. And adds a new activity in faction war: the "Conquer your enemy base", since this is, after all, a base that your faction will conquer, with the abilities to make weapons\armors\chems.
And might add the "Base upgrades", like i suggested a little time ago, only that i suggested this for tents.
