What ever happened to the slaver perk?

Back in the day you'd have to become a slaver to enslave and get your tattoo, then it became you tallk to metzger and everyone gets pissed at you and somehow you are a slaver but minus the tattoo and notification on your profile. Is it  going to go back the way it was because as it is it's retarded. You hand the guy a briefcase, not a group of children. It shouldn't make you a slaver for delivering drugs.

You still get a Slaver karma-perk after becoming a slaver. How is it related to the Mordino's briefcase quest?

I used get treated like a slaver in northern towns after i hand in the case, people in modoc won't talk to me. This was a while ago maybe things have changed.
