Follower Settings for distances.
« on: April 17, 2011, 10:37:53 pm »

The idea is, that there should be a command for how far your followers can go away from you.

E.g. "Alright, Do what you need to, but don't go out of my site, stay within XX hex of me"(in dialogue just call it feet)

And you would press the say button, and put in the number of hexes the follower may leave your side.  (This is nulled when you tell your follower to "Stay here", and this will also fix the problem where followers randomly stop following you because they will constantly reclick you to follow.

It will also solve the Follower Scramble problem, where if fights with several opponents your followers tend to run far away in different directions from you.

There could also be weapon Exceptions that you could input.  "If you got a minigun just run after em if you wanna"  "If you got a pistol stay at least 5  hexes away from the enemy and 15 at the most from me."  (This would prolly be harder)
