It makes no sense whatsoever to be suddenly turned into an animal.

You can imagine that there were some Animal DNA remain after prevoius experiments with turining "things" in to Mutants.

It can be something like in F1 where You was able to turn in to Super Mutant, but here something went wrong and player will turn in to creature.

Trias:
Doesn't make sense at all. Animals were thrown into the vats with humans to create centaurs, which are pretty much a pick n mix style of different species. The FEV virus didn't allow you to transform into a random creature.

However hen 3d is implemented this couple be an interesting feature once you hit level 21 to become a super mutant.

Who said that player wont be able to turn in to Centaur, Floater or Super Mutant. I just suggested to make it random and avaible only when You reach lvl cap.
Also Not all skins should be avaible for reason which Vederas said.
