Yep something like that wouldn't hurt and what if the gauss pistol is dropped on the ground behind some bush in a city :) quite impossible to find.

u need check more than 1k possible places for find gauss, so *g* button useless.

Or this could simply be a lulz attempt to get folks to hit their g key and spend countless real time looking for nothing.
