Killing people

I can't talk to the merc i hired and tell him to kill anyone that comes near my car? What would you prefer? My mercs just watch someone sit there for 30 min and lockpick my car? yeah, that makes more sense ::)
removing KOS would be bad because:
they wouldn't be able to defend cars
they wouldn't be able to defend bases
they wouldn't be able to help defend towns
what would they do? they would be pretty worthless

You should use your mouse, alt-click on your enemie and give them order to atack. Coz now its Server CPU vs Player and his connection, 2nd one havnt any chances against machine.

No one should have that ability... overpowered.

I agree that should be changed somehow.. mercs should have the same sneak check players have before they attack, and should only attack people in their PE range. I'm sure thats easier said then done though...
They need KOS to be able to defend cars and stuff though, thats one of the main reasons i like mercs is my car is usually safe where i leave it.
