Too much ping

i always play like 150-250 ping
how can i decrease this?
already got rid of unnecessary programs

Unnecessary programs won't matter unless they do stuff online (updating, downloads)

• Close Msn, Skype, xfire and all those chat clients.
• Download and install CCleaner, run it and clean your computer.
• If you have a router, reset and restart it.
• If you have an ethernet cable, try to change that one to a better one.
• Consult with your Internet service provider to ensure that your modem is configured correctly.
• Upgrade your connection, it's not neccesary that you need to pay more for it due to the fact that
your current connection is proberbly outdated so the prize is reduced.

150-250 ping is bad?  That's my regular and I almost never lag... even when shot.

I win to everyone!!!!! here in Mexico its normally from 700 to 800, but frames per second is at 50, lol.
my connection is of 1mb and i play  Bad Company 2 with people from Spain without any lag
thats why i love TB

60-40 normal ping in Slovenia, btw; turn off Antivirus programs while playing they eat a lot CPU and RAM (for me.) same as msn,skype etc.

You can removes some files on your desktop that's you seem unnecessary.

sometimes my ping is at 0
sometimes it "locks" at 200 for 'bout 30 mins
sometimes it "locks" at 1500 for some hours

:P and you think you have high ping?  :D

I used to be a bag of dicks, but then I grew up. I gave many of you guys a hard time, but on the other side I kept myself busy with helping players, and I never gave up on that.

Still, the FOnline community is a thing of it's own class.

The furhter the server the higher the ping and nothing you can do about it. For example if you are from US and you connect to Europe ping such as 250 is probably out of reach. Most likely it will be close to 0.5 second or more.
The question is where do you come from?
