Is anyone else as interested in a new roleplay project as I am?

Well yes, it will happen for sure, at least one time and yes it sucks. Learning to deal with thoses issues will help reduce its occurrence.
Maybe start with a cave, just to get some experience before getting a bunker or outpost. Maybe not friend all players you welcome in your base, but use a taxi to bring visitors to your base each time, so they cannot bring other players, since they dont see the location.

Surf likes puting his stash in Ghostfarm, eh? Recently found some guns and ammo there! ;D

I've never used guns there, so it seems I am not the only visitor. ;)

If items are actually used, then it's good. If it's getting collected/stashed just because, it's bad.

unless, of course, your crafting nottin but tier 1 stuff.

You are "wasting" your life by clicking on virtual pixel characters aswell. Point?

they are stored for later use, just because they aren't used RIGHT THEN AND THAR doesn't mean they're just gonna sit there for years. (Although this is occassionally the case)

It's alot less boring to click characters and watch they suffer some horrible death by your hand than magically create items from clicking letters and rocks.

Yeah, later use, an occassion which never occurs, instead the pile just gets bigger and bigger.

Killing other people etc. is just clicking on bitmaps and letters aswell. It also doesn't change the fact that it's still just wasting your time, regardless if it's crafting or "keel". Videogames are inherently time wasters, that's why they are made and played - to fill time up with entertaiment. Entertaiment is objectively experienced - if you find crafting boring, it doesn't mean that it actually is boring. lol'ed at your "watch people suffer horrible deaths" part though - how cute.
