Stranded Ship quest

I am so frustrated with the Stranded Ship, got the lockpick and repair requirement but I cant figure out how to get past the boxes blocking the stairs/doors. Do I need explosives for this?

If this is considered a spoiler, would someone be willing to PM me? Thanks

nope, these cannot be passed, but watch for ladder in first floor near stairs.

went up the ladder, room with Smoke vents blocking...and a computer up north, but boxes blocking the door?

its not boxes i think its the smoke (if the quest wasnt changed). repair the pump or what is it to disable smoke.

Btw it reads like you are alone inside ship. Thats a mistake then, you need at least another guy who helps you inside.
