Bring old grenades back

well if you are in group vs group fight, grenades are useless in open places, same as miniguns and everything other except rocket launchers/ sniper/laser rifles. And in close range you still jump up on 1v1 most times cause death either of you or your opponent is fast enough for other players not to interrupt.

It's all about frag grenades to keep enemy on the ground as long as it's possible. Even with fast shot working with nades your enemy will stand up after some time and then you are dead. Frag grenades are support weapon it's not about damage.
Right now as vedaras said we have no close range combat because you can't get close enough to your opponent without crippled hands or loosing your weapon. Last days I tried to play one of my two old plasma builds and it was really hard to shoot someone so with grenades it's almost impossible. I imagine unstoppable biggunners with anti crits perks after wipe. How are we supposed to stop them?
I invite you Devs to join us or any other gang during TC if you want to. Necessarily take plasma rifles, avenger miniguns or grenades with you ;)

Heh, the last two posts moan about unstoppable small guns followed by unstoppable big guns - please pick a whinge and stick with it.
Try waiting for the actual new perks and weapons before you do too, complaining in the dark about supposed changes you don't really know about is just a waste of time.

Frag power level will be nowhere near what Dynacord was.

They'll get a boost too. Though they won't be made Fire damgae - the boosts from Pyro would make them awesome :o
