Critters die at 0 Hp and below, so it'd have to be like brahmin system.
but yes I'd like this very much aswell.
Ganado:
I would love to see dogs be tamable. It would work like brahmim taming, except be harder. Much less chance to tame than a brahmin, so they will usually have to take a big bite out of you before you are able to tame them.
And, as above posts said, Outdoorsman would help tame it. Regular "Dogs" encounters will be easier (but not too easy) to tame, and "Wild Dogs" or "Wolves" encounters would be harder.
2000+ caps due to inflation-mechanic of Mercenary prices doesn't make any sense - it's a little dog.
kraskish:
Dogs, ok. They should be low cost outdoorsman booster as alternative way of buying them
Even molerats are fine cause it fits to Redding in F2. Yeah just molerat thing should be via perk or quest... dunno would be fun anyway (its still weaker than slave/merc common)
Surf:
Those molerats in redding aren't really "tamed", they are just "injailed".
Only tameable creatures could be dogs, I agree. But please no ridicolous Gecko/Deathclaw/Floater/Molerat/Pigrat taming. ::)

But knock them out does not mean you have to almost kill them. Even slaves can be captured if they are just laying on the groung with full HP.
