Where can i find some assault rifle?

PvE is much more entertaining than going to a mine, then click-click-clicking to make metal parts, then click-click-clicking again to mine more ore at the mine, then click-click-clicking again to go back and finally make one gun.
(Not to mention taking the time to repeat the process at an HQ mine for the HQ materials.)

Gang encounters don't have Assault Rifles, I'm pretty sure.

Dude everyone knew bout gecko, but it's not a general character area, well unless you're like uber lucky. But yeah Crafting isn't a bad option except it is harder than getting them from drops. Also if you don't care about Hub rep, the patrols drop them. Might get real lucky near Necropolis and Hub to get an encounter with TON's of ghouls and a few patrol's and wait to loot the remains. But don't hold your breath.

Yes everyone knew about it, yet until vedaras spilled the beans the ghouls remained, now they're gone. ::) (Yeah I just went to look, it would seem I spoke too late). Now only a shotgun and a 10mm pistol, three spike knuckles, and some knife ghouls remain.
