Slave/merc levels

How many levels can a slave/merc level up by? And how much exp does each consecutive level take experience?

Been answered before, exact same as a player (limit is 21), and it starts with 0 XP.

http://www.fo2238.fodev.net/wiki/Level - for the XP needed to get to each next level.

no perks, only +5% in all skills +HP.
