the only major use I saw for condoms that influenced the plot was

now I'm not sure if in any of the new Fallouts if any of that matters... the child I mean. never played the new ones. or whatever happened to reno that would be considered official canon.

In the time of high bank interrest a outrageous hoarded sums on bank accounts getting less than 20k wold not even make you to leave your base. Nowdays situation is bit different. But still condoms are mostly used only as collectible item to make nice collection of all colours in your base.

It's a shame that it is still the box sprite when you put it on the floor otherwise if it did show the colour you can make some RGB condom pictures rather than using good ol' brahmin poop.
