That, and while they tend to stand for a better life in the wasteland, too often has some of their members done otherwise. Be surprised how often you hear noobs speak of being shot by them for some stupid reason, if any reason at all. My own chars have been shot by their team too many times for no reason, which is the main reason for my dislike of their group (though not all their number).
-Yes, I have several alts that I putter around on, with several benign ones, all of which has been shot by them in their 'protected' towns at some point or another to leave impressions. Doesn't matter their current incarnation (TTTLA in this instance)

But aren't power struggles all about political scheming and allying against common enemy? Dogs of War, Metal Thugs and North Bandits just allied against this zerg alliance under the name of Highway Pirates and there's nothing to it. Just more action.

i see skilled powerful players as those who are able to defeat more people than they have on their own, not those whose victory condition is enough big number of players. Also talking about highway pirates, well they are zerg alliance also, but they have common goals, purposes of factions they are in are very similar, and in tttla + vsb+hawks alliance what is ? One gang is pkers, others not, one is shitty role players others not. It seems that the purpose of alliance is just to have zerg power without any other normal reasons. This is not a way to be powerful.
