Thanks to a spiffingly acurate ingame Jet description...
DirkDigger:
I've just spoiled a whole character.
Hours and hours of work out the window.
Great, thanks devs, no really thanks a lot for being too lazy to add that tiny bit of info saying it's 100% noreturn addiction from one dose. I guess that was too much a task for you.
So long, it's a great game, sucks I had to have it spoiled like this.
Maybe when you get your act together to match the wiki descriptions with ingame ones I'll reconsider.
Ganado:
The wiki does say it's a 100% addiction. And in Fallout 2, it lasts forever unless you get a Jet antidote.
Or, if you are complaining about the stat boosts/minuses being wrong, that's because it would be useless for players to update the wiki because a bot AHS-9 needs to automatically update them, but that hasn't happened.
DirkDigger:
Well forgive me for checking the ingame description first then...
I'd never played Fallout 2 before, just Fallout.
Why not include the jet antidote?

They say it doesn't fit the Fallout timeline.
Not that I agree with that. If it were up to me, I'd put a antidote in there, since the factual timeline doesn't matter much to me. If it were up to me, I would make Jet another drug that addiction only lasts the usual time.
But yeah, something could be added to the wiki (and in-game description) to say that it is permanent and there is no way to get rid of a jet addiction once you take it, it only says 100% chance of addiction.

Is jet addiction affected by Chem Resistant trait?
