Mobs and karma on 2238
« on: March 27, 2011, 09:27:29 am »

The essence my suggestion is as follows:
1. ENCLAVE, Bos attack anyone who is not in their faction.
2. Remnants of the army master attack do all (and always)
3. Patrols city attack all who have karma below 300
4. If you help patrol in encounter - the karma increases
5. For the murder of Khan Raiders they fall karma (and not just increases all the rest)

The purpose of the proposal:
Complicate the farm / stealing ammunition and expensive loot. Kraft stimulate these same munitions.

And one more thing:
Karma should not change either for better or for worse when the player is offline. Only if it is above 1000 or below -1000
In order to raise karma above 1000 have doing quests
If you take one of the warring factions (ENCLAVE, BoS, VC, etc.) fractions in karma - the opponents are not rising EVER that whatever you do.

Karma is not used in 2238.

Karma is used, but only in so minor places, it's not worth to mention. What we use - and what the op wrote about - is reputation.

What I can say is, that the BoS will never open the fire in encounters, if you aren't their enemy. With the Enclave, it will change again in future.

it does not matter
You understand what I mean
Dear Developers (admins), read my suggestion and consider whether it would improve the situation on the server?

What I can say is, that the BoS will never open the fire in encounters, if you aren't their enemy. With the Enclave, it will change again in future.

You can remove the ammo into the second slot (the hand) to prevent stealing of ammunition

Or just fix it so that Stealing isn't so easy against them. (This version is fixing it properly)

I think it's used if you save the farmers when doing the "join the raiders" quest, right? And you get 1000 karma or something. Does that karma have any effect, or is it just there?

Edit: As for this suggestion, there has to actually be something in the game that makes it so getting above 1000 Reputation actually rewards you with something (not just the right to kill protect people in NCR, like how it was pre-update).

Karma is just there. Beside the value existing at all, it's not used.
