noob looking for a faction

I just started playing a couple of days ago. I really don't know how to do anything but from what I read on the wiki factions play a big part in the game...
Like I said, I am a noob, and I would like to join a faction that will teach me about how the game works (I've played fallout 1 and 2 religiously, so I have the basics down) and kind of help me out. I would prefer to join a faction that doesn't make me jump through too many hoops to join, and isn't life consuming.. (i've had bad experiences with both in CyberNations, completely made me hate the game) thanks in advance!

Hey there, if you're into trading, you might want to join our faction: The Wastelandtraders. We're a new faction, but we have experienced members.

Crazy 88 is an APK faction (we don't kill people for fun and such things). It's an international gang so your nationality doesn't matter.
I don't want to say the Wastelandtraders are a bad group, but they are oriented to trading and crafting, so maybe C88 would be better for you if you are interested in combat. We do PvP (hunting PKs in New Reno or around the Wasteland, as well as in Town Control).
