Slowdown leveling
« on: March 03, 2011, 05:43:44 pm »

The suggestion is to increase the max level to 42

Perks every six levels.

Generally speaking, level 1 = 0.5. While maintaining the rate of experience.

Harder to make a alt. When is lots of quest then the exping is not a big deal.

What do you think about it?

Bad idea.
Peoples will make alts anyway, it will just be more painfull for everyone to play.

It won't happen. There will* be (major) changes in char creation and levelling ... but not this.

I agree (to Solar)

Player with that high level would just Kill players, take Guarded Towns and make the Game unplayable

No... I'm playing a solo character (no alts, no gang, just me and my mercs) and it's already boring to do leveling. By implenting your idea, playing even the main character will be VERY boring, so you nerf both, alts and main characters.

I still can be reached over e-mail if you somehow need anything from me. Don't see a reason why you would, but if you do, e-mail remains the safest bet, as I do not visit this forum reliably anymore.

making the diference even bigger is a mistake

1st: it doesnt stop alts, only slows them down

2nd : there are way better ways to decrease alts

3rd : the 1st to reach 42 would have a huge advantage over the others, since this game rewards top tier to much
