I'm honestly surprised that only a 400 or so population could take up over twice the amount of bases...  It's fascinating really how much we need those "connected to name" bases....

Please tell me from where you get this info, i'll be very glad. But take this hint first: thread with available names isn't updated every day but once per few days,week, depends on free names available.

Why not just allow players to choose their own faction name.

Sure you might get dumb names like "SuPeR Pwnz0rr" but who cares?
