Charisma suggestions

So I made a character with one charisma and all the other stats I wanted. Now I can't learn the proffesion I built myself for, because Jacob in the hub won't talk to me.
Thats fucked up.
I've made about 20 toons already because the wiki is incomplete. I'm gonna wait until the next wipe, this game is way too slow right now. Especially with brahmins not taking any damage from 10 shots of .44 magnum JHP and kicking my ass in Leather Armor MK II.
Not bitching, just letting you know this shit is whack.

Hunting brahmins with a shotgun is much more effective.

No damage from the revolver? Are you sure you're even shooting at the brahmins?
Also, beer gives 1ch, mentats gives 2, you can get up to 4ch with your build
