Slaves not leveling????

I have 2 trapper slaves and took them both killing mole-rats for hour. They both kill a ton of mole-rats.  There max life not move one inch.  Everyone i see told me slaves can level. They also say frist lvl should only take 1000 exp and killing mole-rats make level super fast. So why my slaves not leveling?

Nooo! My poor molerats! Everyone kill them! Stop this madness, they have rights to live too.

To topic: yeah, it's a bug as far as I know, slaves aren't leveling. Mercs do, may be dogs do, also I heard brahmins can lvl, but slaves are perma 1st level and can't grow stronger.

tho people on radio claim there slaves can level

week ago i make lvl with my trapper slave
so i think its not bugged (or wasnt before)

Well it was long time ago and it was said that it's a bug, don't know how it's now, I'm not a slaver...
