Btw, that could be nice to make hairs shake a bit, while running

Did someone do my suggestion about elegant suit? I didn't see anything about that.

It's on my list of ones to work on, but I've got quite a few others to finish first. If nobody else has done them by then, I'll have a go.

Hairstyles should not look too modern. I think we should stick to 50s fashion, or to the post apocalyptic world, like punk styles.

I agree with this. But I would also be wary of taking the 50s thing too far - whenever 50s clothing appeared in F3 and NV I found it clashed horribly with the rest of the game. Maybe it was personal taste, but most of the time I didn't like it.

Especially Fallout 3 was way over the top with 50s style. It started to look just silly.

mm, sure it was a bit cool in a way, but it mostly looked like they hardly ever evolved in a way (~stylish way).

I remmember female hairstyles in Fallout being usualy either partialy bald (vree, nicole) or more or less natural (tandi, laura). I think that fifties in fallout were always symbol of old devastated civilization, something that is gone for good.
You don't see much of 50s in VC or NCR anyway..

Because 13 years ago, it was very hard to render good looking long hair. :p

Wasteland requires practical haircuts, sure - but there are always exceptions, like Solar's avatar or Miria.

like Solar's avatar

She's just coming out of Vault 69, she's never seen the Wasteland ;) (Although her hair must exist (!))

Hehe, so there is also hope for classy bob haircuts! ;D Seriously, this is only a matter of taste and modeler effort, so...

Btw, how about moving to new thread with hair business?

Dude, you would literally die of heat exhaustion and dehydration from that!  Such insulation...  But good idea consider, like antirocket armor.

I think the bomb squad gear would look a little out of place.

I'd quite like the Van Buren motorcycle helmet, with the various colour variations they had.

I'd also quite like the leather jacket variation that Van Buren had. Some had skulls on the back, some had flames (I think), etc. A little bit of minor variation would make the wasteland a bit more visually interesting. You can sort of see it here.

Also, Gizmo gear, so long as you made it look appropriate crappy.

I might root around Van Buren's inventory items a bit more, see if I can find any more inspiration. But yeah, subtle variation on otherwise common armour would be nice.
