Not sure it will work good. The thing is, how will people know that there is new issue out? They can see that i post message, but it is not nessecery a new issue, and if i do post a new issue someone else post comment on it, how will others then know its not comment on old issue but a new one (They can look on the post name, will they remember the old name?)? The thing is, that the news must be delivered on time, some news read 1 week later doesint make sense at all. The diffrence between "art" and "news" is that, artist makes a gallery, news is only some fact based short story... And how will i know which story worked and which didint (feedback / "which issue is this comment for??")?

Well, i guess i can give it a try. But, i am sceptical about this.

Well that just ruins the ENTIRE idea behind a periodical , such as a newspaper, or a digital newspaper based around some mmo. Don't do it KTT.

I suggest a compromise. Two Topics. First one is where he posts the new ones, second one is the archive of the News posted before. It could work like this:

1. Topic --> The Exit Reporters #8 (new one) --> edit post and write new one in here, edit topic name too of course
The Exit Reporters #7 (the one before that obv ;)) --> delete and move (c/p) to
2. Topic (archive)
The Exit Reporters #7 (copy paste from the first topic) --> new post in archive topic
                  The Exit Reporters #6
                  The Exit Reporters #5
                                ....
This way, at least, you would have one sticky news topic and because of the second one (archive) there don't have to be new topics for each News Thread.

I like The Exit Reporters a lot, but I don't understand why any fan art post should be sticky. Okay, I understand that some pieces of fan art are cooler than other
(Cryofluid's work are an obvious example), but why make them sticky?

Maybe I used the wrong word for what i was trying to explain. I didn't mean the "stickyness" itself. Its about that the first topic is on top again after it was edited with a new release of the Exit Reporters.

Well, it will still lead to the same problem. That two diffrent issues will be on the same page and comments will be from all of the issues mixed together. The old replys of people will be then offtopic, becouse like i say, each issue is on diffrent subject from another, only design is more or less the same (even though i still change it each time to make each design a bit uniqe).

And now that i posted this reply, how many people though that there was a new issue out? If they now think that and come here, and they see that there is no new issue, will they come again next time they see i made a reply?

True that but you don't post a new issue every two days for example. So...most replies will be done when you come around with a new one i guess.

And now that i posted this reply, how many people though that there was a new issue out? If they now think that and come here, and they see that there is no new issue, will they come again next time they see i made a reply?

If you edit the Topic subject #1 to a new number it will be seen by others that it's a new one i think.

I understand your thoughts. In my opinion the best solution would be to let you do a new post for each "News - subject" and some moderator merges the older ones into one archive-topic from time to time but i dont think that someone wants to do this job ;). Personally i also don't have a problem that there's a new topic each time you post a new subject but on the other hand i can understand the mods too. If you'd be the only one posting here that wouldn't be a problem but this isn't the case of course. I think they just try to keep the subforum as neat as possible.
