energy weapon have lower dmg than SGs and even harder to get ammo, only 2 tipes of ammo:MFC & SEC
the only reason they are used is for there high critical chance

Having 2 types of ammo doesn't change anything. Actually, there is no such kind of ammo, that is affecting critical change. You should think twice before replying.
Though, maybe you think so, because of Magneto-Laser Pistol? It have a "Penetrate" weapon perk, that is affecting Damage Threshold and therefore it causes to make more damage by this weapon, but still it have nothing to do with critical chance.

Brain lags again we got here.

The only reason to use EW rifle is extremely high peak damage on bypasses.
The only reason to use plasma pistols is extremely high  damage on low AP cost
The only reason to use laser pistols is extremely high  range  on low AP cost for crippling arms in 3 shots per turn
