try to calculate what is the maximum skill needed for the most difficult situation. I think its about 230 sneak.more then that number would be a waste.

I calculated -12.Also, you forgot about bonuses and penalties:20+6*3-(300+bonus-penalty)/6 =in example, for front, no ghost perk, no occluders, no stealth boy, no weight, no armor, no motion sensor for your enemy: 38-(300-135)/6 = 38-27,5 = 10,5So you are going to be seen from 10 or 11 hex(probably 11) by your enemy.
