You can make inventory main picture in FRM instead of PNG. And animation will be played infinite times.
However FRM format has some limitations - does not support alpha channel (you cannot make semi-transparent elements) and limited palette

Looks really good.  It is a matter of getting used to it but considering all the messages on the top I seems logical to keep this layout.
Even more so, If it would be possible to swap "compass"/town button with the messages window it would feel even more "natural".

IMO more logical will be have 1 big panel between 2 small. But again, not sure...
Can't actually choose between those 3 variants:
(left to right)

1) town|world party chat
2) party chat town|world
3) chat party town world

minimal:
Doctor Eex,
3rd composition more usable, imo, landing at very bottom; 2nd combo usable a lil less than 3rd, but more logic. 1st combo hard usable at all, for me, as a right-hander, for example.
