Just explain your opinions with reason instead of accusing me to be some sort of conservative.

If the range is long on the pipe rilfe. than it gives the sniper a chance to run away faster, so for ranged enemies he can get away. which would make it better than the 10mm pistol for kill stealing with crits against NPC's like raiders and junktown scouts.

Beside for 1-3lvl player it's no easy to massively loot 10mm ammo. With your 10mm pistol/rifle and leather jacket you have low chances to do mass hunt on armed enemies. But it's still somehow easy to BUY.
One more thing: If u use slaves, that don't have pistol animations, and you don't want to give'em hunting rifles + valuable 223 ammo, then 10mm thing is a good choice.
I really think that making pipe rifle craftable (and increasing it's range) is a good and smart idea.

The slave thing i can get behind somewhat. but most slaves that cant use pistols. and are weaker are normally crappy anyway. a shotgun is better for most slaves due to higher damage. and the fact that most cant snipe.
But if for some reason you don't have hunting rifles for ghoul crazies. you can give them pipe rifles with 10mm AP.

improving the range wont really do much. If your weapon skill is high enough to hit eyes at 30hex, you don't have to rely on pipe rifles anymore anyway.
