I still prefer GTA2MP, though it's damn unstable, suffers from shared ping (if one lags, everyone lags) and has 6 players limit.

No, I liked DM servers more where you can shoot people, but there's always online few players, so I had to connect to RP servers, but they banned me really fast. RP in GTA? Are you kidding? You have guns, you can smack people with a cars, RP?

"Wow! Now we'll roleplay idiots on the street who talk 24/7, using emote animations and doing nothing and ban anyone who will try to deal any damage to anyone!"
So punched to death one guy near at job, then some cop followed me, I ran to nearest car and smacked cop to death, then picked up his desert eagle and shot other cop who was standing and asking everyone to show pass, then few cops came on car to chase me, I escaped on car and then they banned me from the server. Damned RPers.
SA MP is boring mostly because of "players online" on adequate servers, while RP servers has alot online, but there's nothing to do, because they will ban you for ANY fun action.
