Hey guys, i am a n00b and need to build a tent. I have no brahmin hides and have to much stuff to risk traveling to a big city to buy them. I need 10 to build a tent. I am in the vault city area. Can I buy some in VC or maybe gecko? If not where can I find some brahmin outside of town? Will NPCs be hostile if i kill brahmin in an unguarded town?

 I will be on in 30 min if you  need help I just started a new char and need hides to but you will need to either meet me in ncr or hub and don't kill the brahmin in town they are part of city and guards will owe you and to make tent you will need brahmin hides and only there hides will work if you see hides for sale at traders buy em.

If i try to travel all the way from Vault city to the hub or ncr i will prob die and lose my stuff. I have a hunting rifle and a shotgun but i have barely any ammo for the guns. I would travel all the way if i had more ammo. Ill look for ammo or brahmin hides in stores at vc or gecko and I might be able to meet up with you.

Tell you what I will go on one of my lvl 21s and come up and get you try to get radio and go on channel 450 I will be on I n 10 min or so and we will go and hurt for some hides.

Where are radios? you comin to VC or I comin to NCR or hub?

ok am on dont worry about the radio thing and they are all over the place look in any shop am coming to vc i will be there in maybe 5 - 10 min. am nick is falloutbger2
