Why not attempt to implement a new item which worked like a Sign?"  ;D
I have thought something like:
- Would cost 4 wood or something like that
-You change the message in your inventory
--Once thrown on the floor, you would read the message by moving your mouse over it or with the "see action"
- Also would be good the message  text could also pop out in the form of floating text (just like combat taunts)... could be a sign with electronic parts. :o

You were critically hit in the head for 70 hit points, knocked out, knocked down, had your armor bypassed and were killed

would be useful to leave messages without staying in one place, or be repeated every time the same in a radio channel

it has in a different form, like billboards in towns, bases, etc.  (the ones already there and new ones for bases)

And you can mark stashes/tent/lockers in your faction base, that's nice.
