lock and Key

so I made a lock to put on my caravan (which I lock picked) but where is the key to the lock?

will i get the key after I attach it to my caravan?

Snackish:
When you attache a lock to anything in game you'll have a key apear in your inventry.

So we can lock cars and wagons back up?  I thought this wasn't implemented yet.

I haven't tried yet but i don't think so. I think that answer only addressed the Key
