Make a certain mutant enslaveable, remnant encounter only.
Michaelh139:
Ok, Quote "In my opinion": I think a certain super mutant from Remnant encounters only should be enslaveable, not only that but think about it, ALL human npcs that are enslaveable are easy... too easy, because they're weak as hell.
Supermutant enslavement would be the ULTIMATE challenge for a slaver, you shouldn't be able to sell them to Vortis or Metzger because they're supermutants and they're afraid. Only players. the supermutant should also of course be the weakest kind.
To add some more troublesome requirements, you should have to "Harvest" or Scavenge, Steel wire, and you have to have a crafter, 150% science, 150% repair, to craft Rope out of this, you would also need a super toolkit and a workbench. The Picture for the Steel rope could just be a darkened grey/silver colored in Rope.
think about it... Slavers are almost no challenge against supermutants, so this would also encourage teamwork in groups so the slaver can take the mutants!
Opinions? Suggestion? etc
Ganado:
Concept is good, needs a lot of balancing:
The enslave-able mutants should not surpass 130 HP, "150% science/repair" is not necessary.
Just make it use various materials needed to craft it. There is no point in having over 100 Science for any normal character.
An HQ alloy, some HQ metal parts, and some fiber sounds like a better solution.
To the argument that it would be over-powered:
- Right now, you can still easily buy 5 Rocket-Launcher mercenaries, with about 120 HP each.
- These mutants can't even run, and should only have slightly higher HP.
Also, another way to balance it would to make it so the enslaved mutants have less skills to start with. Concept is okay, it just needs some balances to make an equal alternative to just buying BG-human mercs.
Mr Feltzer:
Cool Idea. I Like it, It will be Cool, And Not be a Big Difference. People already have Supermutant Mercs with 300hp. So, Trying to Slave a Supermutant And only getting one with 150hp is Balanced :D

Agreed, there are definitely not enough mutants involved in PvP.

Pretty dumb idea. As if a big mutie would let itself be enslaved by some puny little human. ::)
