GTA IV optimalization, faster working

Do you know some tricks and tips for making GTA IV faster on HD4800 series 1GB (in game 2GB)?

and of course make draw distance (or sth like that) lower
I dont have it, but in internet on some GTA fan sites was way to make normal game (editing ini files)
