<< < (3/3)

Andr3aZ:
I watch Naruto from time to time too, but thats because i started watching it with 16 and still want to know how the story goes on ;)
Naruto is usally ok, i just dont like those "Yihaaaa" mentality much animes spread.

Sounds like something I gotta check out. Doubt that it will satisfy me, since I am a tough guy anime hater. Blah, never liked anime anyways, dunno why

Izual:
It is weird and also a bit weird. So, prepare yourself.

Too many, here are some.

Evangelion.

In chronological order: Original series; manga; GirlfriendOf Steel2 (a pleasant intermezzo); Death/Rebirth; End of Evangelion; Re-Take (an excellent doujin series with plausible ending, but NSFW), Movies: RebuildOfEvangelion: 1.0 You're (not) alone/2.0 You can (not) advance/, waiting for 3.0: Q(uickening).
Shinji Ikari Raising Project manga is brainless comedy fanservice crap.

Cowboy Bebop: original series, Knocking on Heavens door. Gotta love the style and jazz/blues soundtrack by Yoko Kanno and The Seatbelts.

Welcome to the NHK! could be quite ironic. It's a comedy series with good depth.
Azumanga, Great Teacher Onizuka, School Rumble, RozenMaiden(desss...heh...must restrain myself...), Yukikaze, Area88 and Macross/Robotech for some degree of dogfight (wishing there was AceCombat anime)

For splatter AND action, i recommend Hellsing OVA, Black Lagoon, Highschool of the Dead.
Postapocalyptic setting? Desert Punk, Trigun, Fist of the North Star, the last is splatteraction.

Akira was quite philosophical. (also, SouthPark parodied it in the Trapper Keeper episode)
The dystopian style and atmosphere reminded me also somewhat on Wings of Honneamise from GAINAX.

NOW THAT! IS A CLASSIC!  I loved the episode (was it last episode btw?) here the skinny jacket wearin dude went solo in that tower, killed the bad guy, and walked out and died etc.  Yeah I don't know much about it,  don't know their names but I try as hard as I can to hone in on the episodes whenever they come on...   I just haven't see many episodes, so rare...  I also so that one where this junkie dude is that roboarmed dude's oldgirlfriend or something and they die trying to escape he police (The girl and junkie dude) in space.

I probably dumbed down the series with this post  :'(.
