I know that you are preparing new ingame changes (team domination, new maps,...). Also i know that system does not allow dynamic maps. So my suggestion is:
If you will introduce new map for this faction scenario, you can make a serie of one map, with little differences. I think that many players know L4D where director sometimes changes patches, barricades,.. . In 2238, this changes could be created before implementing of that map only by little editing of existing map, and ingame, server will random choose one of serie of map. The impact on gameplay could be small, or huge, where you will not exactly know, what kind of builds will dominate at map, so you will have to balance squad before. Hope you understand me.

Makes perfect sense, makes sure there's no way to preplan 15 minigunners, and just one of everything else.... etc
