[Event] Northern Caravans
Andr3aZ:
Somewhere in north california a guy in a heavy leather armor walks into the dusty general store.
"Hey Balthas" Trader Jo stands infront of his store shelves as always. The tanner approches him.
"How's it goin Jo? Listen i need to talk to you about something. You might figure something out."
Modoc wants to establish a trade route between them and Broken Hills during their great auction (http://fodev.net/forum/index.php?topic=10413.0).
You can join them in making trade goods or join the caravans moving south and back.
We gather at Friday around 6-7 pm GMT+1 at Modoc. Then a mass group tent will be made so we have a safe gathering point.
Then we will collect tradeable goods, some examples can be seen in the Roles-Section.
When we have enough goods the first caravan will move to Broken Hills and participate in the auction and maybe return for a refill.
We will do this as long as everybody wants to and haves fun.
Roles
The roles can of course be mixed. So if you have chars which can serve more than one purpose you can do different roles at the same time.
The Caravan:
Caravan Leader:
You are leading the caravan from Modoc to Broken Hills. It's your responsibilty to get them there as fast as you can. You also deceide what goods are brought there.
Caravan Guard:
You are defending the caravan from the dangers of the wasteland. If needed you will be given armor and weapons from Andr3aZ (im afraid i can only give out small guns at this time). Make sure the caravan gets to Broken Hills in one piece.
The Modoc Hillbillies:
Hunter and/or Tanner:
You make a living of skinning the creatures of the wastes and crafting their hides into fine pieces of armor.
Additionally you catch brahmin as a trade good or for transportation.
If you need, you can get basic gear from Andr3aZ.
You can either join the caravan as a guard later or stay at Modoc and produce more trading goods.
Craftsmen:
The mine in the caves of the Ghost Farm gives you enough resources to build something worth enough to be sold or used (guns, ammo, crafting supplies like metal parts, alloys or gunpowder, tools, locks and other usefull things)
You can supply the caravan guards with additional gear and/or join them as a guard later.
Medic/Doctor:
When a caravan leaves you can either join for medical support or stay at Modoc and maybe craft something for trading (I know its a rather bad location for it, even with meat jerky from the store and fruits from Rose's garden).
Send me a PM or post here so i can get an overview about this event.

I would like to thank everyone participating in the Modoc Caravan Event and their help to get us save and filled with goods to Broken Hills.
I also wanna thank the BrokenHills Hunters for their hospitality and their protection of our little store. Thanks for the event.
Last shout out to everyone visiting BH for the auction and the caravan store, especially our customers. We will be there on the next auction again!
