Solar:
If by "so weak" you mean pretty much second only to the Avenger, then yes. Avenger will always be the top DPS weapon, so if thats all that concearns you ... use the Avenger.

I mean weak in that in the first ap round I do max 100 damage then get killed, where avenger I can do 200 because you're lucky to get off one shot before getting raped by plasma aim bots. Also the smg has a slow animation and I find myself clicking first and still getting killed without firing, probably a lag issue though.

Well, presume 12 AP and p90c does ~150, Avenger does ~180

180/150 = 1.2

In TB maybe that would be the case, but since this is an rt build im not going for 12 ap. Rt is pretty much a case of whoever does the most damage in the least amount of shots wins.

OK then, presume 10 AP. p90c shoots twice, Avenger shoots once - 100 vs 90 and p90c does better damage.  :-\
