not sure if it's a bug or not but...

I acquired a farmer for my base (Homesteader, 2 squares up from Redding). Now he's just standing in the exit grid and I can't talk to him, even though I'm the leader and hired him.

Is there some sort of cool down or something?

If you can still talk to him and get the message that he's busy, press alt and click him.
Than choose stop all actions which you probably need to do twice.
