Crafter Trait &/ crafter perk

Crafter traint:you learn veary quick stuff in theory,but you don't learn anything by practise.

efect:you have 5-6 profesion points,but you don't gain xp from crafting


Crafter Perk:your skills increased:you have 1 more profesion point

For me, it's option 4. I only see more alts with this.  :-\

acutally less alts :P since alts would get more skilled with crafting high tier shit you would need only 1 alts instead of 2 to cover most of your crafting needs.

I still can be reached over e-mail if you somehow need anything from me. Don't see a reason why you would, but if you do, e-mail remains the safest bet, as I do not visit this forum reliably anymore.

Max ammount of profession levels you can get.
We all have 4 prof levels.
So you can have 3/1, 2/2, 2/1/1, 1/1/1/1, etc. profs.

If you pick the Crafter Trait, then how the hell are you going to get xp? Crafters get their XP from crafting.

Less alts and less professions, or more professions and more alts? Either way seems to be wrong, sorry LagMaster, but 4 is my number in this case  :-\

Crafter Perk:your skills increased:you have 1 more profesion point

The idea is good but the means are bad.

Crafter trait/perk You get 5 profession points in total but cause just 1/3 damage, 1/100 from killing creatures and 2x more for crafting... this would be fair...

If you do a char with 2 lvl 3 or one lvl3 profs and one in lvl2 it requires very high skillpoints investment and additional int points. Your char will be seriously weaker in combat. This kind of trait would be completely okay if the state of our game wasn't what it is now.

Alts = good.
Dual logging = bad.
Useless alts used only for crafting and not playing = bad.

I did not vote because the only change I want to see for crafting is : NO crafting on 2238 server.

I think that a hardcore 2238 would be fun, with no craft for weapons or ammo (except pipe rifle, zip gun, etc.) and armor crafting from leather to metal. This could add more fun and longevity to fights. I'd like to test it.

But....this is not the topic.

Yeah, it was great game at first days after wipe, where you could see people shooting each other on encounter near NCR or from NCR ot Junktown with leather jackets/armor and from 10mm pistols to desert eagles and grease guns, or even flamers!!! And see metal armor guy alone impossible, because it's faction and there will be also 3-4 players near him. Great days, but now... metal, BA, sniper, laser rifle, LSW... that's all.
