I didn't understand a single thing you said, but using the nature-gifted ability to think logically, gotta say: ''Why not?''. I mean, theres tesla for lasers and plasma. Why couldnt there be fire gecko pelt armor against fire and explosives? Yes, explosives. That way it would give more spice and content in PvP. What skin to use? Simply, the leather jacket! Sounds good for me.

A red version of Leather Jacker or Armor.

Yeah, sounds cool, and add both an use for Gecko Fire pelt and an armor good against Fire  :)

Well idea is v. good. But from what i heard, even recoloring already existing spirit is really time consuming. So we will hear, not until 3d.

or... I misunderstood and you're talking only about using already existing skins/spirits (whatever its called :P).

well +1 from me

It would be better as another T3 metal armor upgrade, just add the pelt as an underlying layer or underarmor which absorbs heat/explosions :P
Like the tesla has very low explosion protection, this metal armor would have lower energy resistance but great against rockets. All hail psycho.

HtH suggestions: Melee: +DR(PA)
Unarmed: +AC(active sneak should boost AC as they are "less visible")

Nice idea and it will suit the new Rock-Paper-Scissor rather well, if you add fitting nemesi.

And since flamethrower is only good for PvE due to its range, Fire Armor would be good against explosions, revamped Molotovs and perhaps napalm rockets?

Metal armors are really heavy for many critters and is METAL armor. Gecko Fire pelts should definatly stay on leather stuff.

It should also have explosion resistance, else it will be useless or almost not in use.
